A great question to ask when choosing curriculum

I was recently at a conference when someone asked me this question: "Who is GO! curriculum not for?" That question is brilliant! In fact, I think that should be one of the first questions you ask when vetting different curriculum options. If a publisher can't give you a good answer, they either don't know their product or they aren't being forthright. The truth is that no single curriculum is a fit for everyone. Personally, I love answering that question, because by telling people who GO! is not for, I'm able to tell them who it is for. So here is my answer:GO! is not for people who want a video-driven curriculum. In other words, if you're looking to pop in a video and have it teach the lesson for you, you will be sorely disappointed in GO! That doesn't mean we don't have video elements. We do. Some lessons have more, some less, and some not at all. But when we use video, it supplements the lesson, it doesn't teach it. And that's on purpose.GO! is uniquely interactive. It's a chronological curriculum designed to get kids out of their seats and into the storytelling action. You can't do that with a video. Every 4-5 weeks, GO! uses a different interactive storytelling method that helps kids "Join the Story." Why? Because it's more fun than sitting still while someone talks at you. Because it engages multiple learning styles. Because it helps kids remember what they learned. Because it gives them a healthy break from their video saturated world. No...GO! is not for everyone. It's only for people who want an active curriculum that creatively engages kids in Biblical storytelling. That's who we are. No apologies.(If you want to learn more about GO! and try 1 month for free, click here.)
