The team at GO! Curriculum has designed a 3-day at-home/virtual VBS that is custom made for  families during the COVID19 shutdown. We have thought through every aspect of the VBS experience and made it so user friendly that any family can easily do it at home.

With minimal preparation, easy to follow instructions, and a video that leads kids step-by-step through each day, BOLT VBS is the perfect quarantine-friendly solution for your church or family.

WHAT IS BOLT ALL ABOUT?

 Single Family License. . . $25​

• Permission for a single family whose church is not hosting BOLT
• Access to the "Family Portal" where you will find...

Beyond the license, there are no additional costs. BOLT is designed to be easy on the budget. We have purposefully chosen games and crafts that utilize materials families already have or can easily and inexpensively obtain.

BOLT is more than just a video...

During BOLT, the video will prompt kids to play fun games that illustrate what it means to listen to, focus on, and follow Jesus. Each game has been chosen using the following criteria:

• ​Scalable for any size group from 2 to 2,000
• Easy to explain and execute
• Minimal materials
• Age-appropriate for ages 5 to 85
• Adaptable for different locations
• Safe for kids

In addition to games, each video also illustrates how to do an origami craft. There's a comic sports-casting duo who provides humorous play-by-play as the kids make the origami craft along with origami super-star, "Hans Handerson." 

CHRIST-CENTERED LESSONS

Each day of BOLT has beautifully illustrated Bible stories and powerful, Christ-centered teaching built into the lesson. Periodically, families will be asked to pause the video and read from the Bible or discuss a question. This makes it so easy for parents to lead their kids towards a heart-changing encounter with Jesus.

​Here's a breakdown of what families will be learning:

​Day 1: Parable of the Sower and the Seed​ (Luke 8:4-15)

• Big Idea: I can listen to Jesus
• Memory Verse: Psalm 119:105

​Day 2: Jesus Walks on Water (Matthew 14:22-36)

• Big Idea: I can focus on Jesus
• Memory Verse: Proverbs 3:5

​Day 3: Jesus Chooses His Disciples (Luke 5:1-11, 27-32)

• Big Idea: I can follow Jesus
• Memory Verse: Romans 8:39

CHART-TOPPING CHRISTIAN MUSIC

BOLT VBS features music by Ben Calhoun of the chart-topping Christian band--Citizen Way. Their hit song "Bulletproof" has almost 13 million plays on YouTube alone. It's as if Ben himself will be leading your kids in worship. If you would like to listen to the 3 featured songs (plus many more), you can stream them through this Spotify playlist.

SWEET SLEEP MISSIONS

BOLT VBS has partnered with "Sweet Sleep" to provide an optional missions component that is designed for families to experience at home.

"Sweet Sleep" exists to demonstrate God's love and hope in Christ to the world's orphaned and abandoned children, improving their quality of life. Together, our families can provide beds, mosquito nets, and Bibles for the children of war-torn Uganda.
