Come on—admit it! At some point in your life, most of you have probably tried to sneak a peek at one of your wrapped presents. Especially as a kid, those presents sat there under the tree like a black hole of temptation, sucking you in until you couldn’t resist. You checked that the coast was clear, picked up your gift and shook it to see what was inside. Most of the time this is done in secret, but not during the “Shake It Up” series. During this series, kids will be encouraged to shake different presents and figure out what’s inside. The contents, when revealed, will help kids discover the story of the most incredible Christmas gift ever given, a gift that shook the world—the gift of Jesus.
